The dandelion sits and grows
In yellow clumps and yellow rows.
In summer time when children sleep,
The yellow goes, it seems to creep.
And suddenly, like overnight,
The dandelion’s head turns white.
With gentle puffs the white is gone
To scatter seedlings on the lawn.
